The Boating 1 program is a great introduction for your family to boating safety, operation and navigation. A PCOC program for Youth is also available from CPS-ECP; contact our Education Officer at, 613 536 5367 for more information.

The complete program (Package #1), includes a CPS-ECP Boating Basics Manual, classroom instruction, examination and the CPS-ECP PCOC.

If you wish to share the manual with a household member or colleague, you can register for the instruction, exam and card only, (Package # 2).

Once we have your registration, the instructor will contact you to provide the CPS-ECP Boating Basics manual for you (and yours) to read in advance of the class.  This preparation is vital in making the instruction effective and the class more interactive.

If you believe you have acquired sufficient knowledge through self-study or experience you may write the exam and obtain the card, without attending the seminar or purchasing the training material.  Please contact Kingston Power & Sail Education Officer at 613 536 5367 to make arrangements.
